HIV and AIDS Awareness & Prevention Program
The HIV and AIDS Awareness & Prevention Program of Laureate Foundation focuses on creating a culture of informed prevention, compassion, and inclusion. It equips young people, especially from marginalized and high-risk communities, with accurate knowledge about HIV transmission, testing, and treatment—while addressing the layers of stigma that often silence discussion.
Working through schools, youth groups, and digital advocacy platforms, the program promotes early testing, safe practices, and rights-based health education. It also strengthens referral linkages with local health departments and civil society networks to improve access to care.
At its heart, this initiative is about health justice—empowering individuals with the right to knowledge, protection, and non-discriminatory healthcare.
